CyborgCamp Toronto is an unconference on the future of humans and technology. Attendees will discuss cyborgs, intelligence amplification, utopia / distopia / weird topia, quantified self, robots, prosthetics, philosophy and much more!
During CyborgCamp, attendees make the conference. Some come prepared with ideas of what they want to talk about, and others come prepared to listen. Some have relevant experience and ready talks, and others just have a woolly idea needing discussion. Attendees write their ideas up on a board and the conference begins!
In addition to the above topics, here’s a huge tag cloud: cyborgs, wearables, prosthetics, sensors, control systems, assistive tech, transcendence, transhumanism, technological singularity, artificial intelligence, intelligence amplification, utopia / distopia / weird topia, identity, quantified self, exocortex, ubicomp, robots, sensory augmentation, steam punk, philosophy, ethics, intelligence, borg, hackerspaces, telepresence, science fiction, DIY, cryonics, cybernetics, open source, nanotech, augmented reality, brain-computer interface, artificial life, functional electrical stimulation, neural science.
If you’re interested in any of these things, you should attend!
